Tapco Circuit Supply Installs Rohm & Haas Electronic Materials’ ENIG Process At Two Customers, Another to Follow
Chicago, IL – August 15, 2006 —
Tapco Circuit Supply recently installed RHEM ENIG at two accounts in the Chicagoland area. One installation replaces a competitive material providing a higher quality finish. The second installation was a customer installing a new line. This customer saw the need for ENIG as a final finish because of continued growth of lead free processing. With ENIG, boards are not exposed to multiple high temperature solder shocks prior to assembly as with lead free HASL. Upon installation of another plating line at another account, TCS will install a third RHEM ENIG process in the Chicagoland area.
